The EMS Education Center will remain at the JOLIET campus even after EMS staff offices move to the new hospital on January 28th, 2012.  The EMS Classroom is currently located just below the Joliet campus Emergency Room at the directions listed below EMS Classroom. Once the Hospital moves on February 26th, 2012 EMS classes will move over to the newly renovated EMS Education Center (still at the JOLIET campus) but inside the Medical Arts building on Copperfield Avenue. We will post those directions right here once that location is renovated and available for us to use.

EMS Classroom-Joliet Campus also called the Conference Center (where EMS Specialty Courses and the Paramedic Program are taught): Again we recommend entering the building near the ER at the "Conference Center" entrance located just to the north of the

ER patient entrance. Once inside the building you will come to an elevator with a sign that says To Conference Center. This elevator only goes down 1 floor, which is where the Conference Center and EMS Classrooms are located. Once down there proceed toward the back for the main auditorium. If you enter from another entrance you may follow the ceiling flags marked

 ●  to lead you to the Conference Center.

EMS Staff Offices are now located at the new hospital as of January 28, 2012

No EMS Staff are at the Joliet Campus

EMS Office-New Lenox (after 1/28/12): Enter the New Lenox campus building at the main entrance. Once inside the Emergency Department you will need to request an escort to our specific offices as the patient care areas are locked and accessible by badge only.

If you are an ACTIVE MEMBER on one of our fire departments or ambulance services, you may use the punch code access at the Ambulance Bay doors for entry (this code is known amongst our EMS providers only). The EMS office will be located (to the right and) just inside the doors that lead from the bay into the ER. The EMS Paramedic Report room is the last door on the right and the EMS Operations office is the 2nd door on the right.
